El gerente de Industrialización de Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), Henry Lapaca, explicó este jueves que la Planta de Amoniaco y Urea (PAU) está generando ingresos para el país provenientes de la venta del producto a los agricultores locales como también al exterior.
“Es acertada la actual comercialización de la urea, más aún considerando que en los últimos días el precio internacional de la urea ha tenido un alza significativa, en comparación al precio especial al que tiene acceso por dos meses, como incentivo, el sector del agro y asegura el abastecimiento del producto a los mercados interno y externo” dijo, según una nota de prensa.
Periodistas de distintos medios de comunicación realizaron esta jornada una visita a la PAU, en la cual constataron el normal funcionamiento del complejo petroquímico que se encuentra en plena etapa de producción.
El complejo industrial actualmente trabaja entre un 70 y 75% de su capacidad, lo que le permite producir entre 1.500 y 1.700 toneladas diarias.
Al ser consultado sobre fallas que habrían obligado a paralizar la producción, el Gerente de Industrialización desmintió aquello y mostró, como prueba de su afirmación, el producto almacenado que se distribuye a los distintos mercados.
