La Central Obrera Departamental (COD) de Santa Cruz presentó una acción popular en defensa de los derechos al trabajo, la libre transitabilidad y la salud ante el paro indefinido convocado por el Comité Pro Santa Cruz y otros sectores.
El accionante es el secretario ejecutivo de esa entidad, Rolando Borda, quien presentó la acción en el Tribunal Departamental de Justicia de Santa Cruz, el lunes, jornada en la que algunos grupos de ciudadanos instalaron puntos de bloqueo en la capital oriental en contra de la Ley 1386 de Estrategia Nacional de Lucha Contra la Legitimación de Ganancias Ilícitas y el Financiamiento del Terrorismo.
“Como institución matriz de los trabajadores cruceños, y en mi condición de ejecutivo departamental, hemos acudido a este instrumento, a esta acción popular que ya fue admitida y que, obviamente, estamos viendo la forma de notificar, porque el denunciado en este caso es el señor (Rómulo) Calvo, en su condición de Presidente del Comité Pro Santa Cruz”, dijo en entrevista con la Agencia Boliviana de Información (ABI).
Cuestionó que la convocatoria al paro cívico denominado “multisectorial” no cuente con la legitimidad debida, porque se arremete y agrede a quienes no se suman a la medida, sin tomar en cuenta que ciudadanos deben acudir a sus fuentes de trabajo o movilizarse por atención en salud en época de pandemia.
Aseguró que el paro no es una medida en sintonía con las necesidades del pueblo boliviano, que fue afectado en su economía tras el golpe de Estado y la pandemia del COVID-19.
“El pueblo necesita trabajar, el pueblo necesita movilizarse. Nuestros compañeros comerciantes necesitan desplazarse, especialmente de las áreas más lejanas de Santa Cruz”, dijo.
Lamentó que los dirigentes cívicos desinformen a la población y se opongan a una ley que aplica medidas contra la legitimación de ganancias ilícitas y el terrorismo.
