El presidente de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos de la Cámara de Diputados, Juan José Jauregui (MAS), denunció este miércoles que Jeanine Áñez pretende dilatar el proceso investigativo, tras no asistir a una audiencia convocada por el juez que lleva adelante la causa.
“En el momento en el cual rehúsa participar de un acto jurisdiccional, ¿quién está ocasionando la dilación?, ¿quién está ocasionando que se pueda obstaculizar el proceso investigativo?, ¿la autoridad jurisdiccional?, ¿el Ministerio Público?, de ninguna manera, es la señora (Jeanine) Áñez”, apuntó.
El martes, Áñez, detenida en el penal de Miraflores, no asistió a una audiencia de la que previamente fue notificada, por lo que el Consejo Multidisciplinario y el director del Centro Penitenciario de Miraflores, determinaron sancionarla con tres días sin visita, determinación que no incluye al personal médico y a sus abogados.
“En este momento la oposición no puede apelar a que se estuviera desarrollando una persecución política, no existe ninguna instrucción ni manipulación para que la señora (Jeanine) Áñez pueda ser objeto de esta sanción administrativa”, aclaró.
Denunció que no es la primera vez que Jeanine Áñez y su defensa entorpecen las investigaciones, ya que el 26 de agosto sus médicos particulares no asistieron a la junta médica para evaluar su situación psicológica.
“Penosamente hemos sido nosotros, como Comisión de Derechos Humanos, testigos de la falta de voluntad que tienen, por ejemplo, los médicos que le asisten, para asistir a la junta médica el 26 de agosto, donde existían médicos especialistas para determinar la condición psicológica y la medicación para la señora (Jeanine) Áñez”, subrayó.
