El Banco Central de Bolivia (BCB) ofrece a la población mejorar sus ahorros invirtiendo en el “Bono BCB directo”. De acuerdo al representante del BCB, Renán Franco, el Banco Central de Bolivia ofrece a la población altos rendimientos: Por la compra de un bono cuyo costo es de Bs. 1.000, el BCB le paga un interés del 6.10%, por 12 meses el interés anual es de 6,95%. Franco insistió que la compra de bonos, al tener un interés más alto que el de un ahorro común y corriente del sistema financiero, le permite al cliente obtener mejores dividendos. “Por ejemplo si ahorra Bs. 50.000, el interés por seis meses sería Bs 1.542. Y si el plazo fijo es de un año, la rentabilidad sería de 5.270 bolivianos, por un año y medio, el interés sería de Bs 6. 812 Una persona puede comprar desde un bono (de Bs 1.000) hasta un máximo de 200 bonos, equivalente a Bs. 200.000. La compra de bonos es una inversión rentable y confiable, se aplica en el país desde el año 2011 con resultados positivos para las familias bolivianas, expresó el entrevistado. La venta del bono BCB único, se realiza en oficinas del Banco Central de Bolivia, Banco Unión y Diaconía, presentando su carné de identidad original y fotocopia.  La compra también puede hacerse vía internet, entrando a la página del Banco Central de Bolivia y haciendo clic en la ventana, bono BCB Único, sin tener que hacer colas.
