Representantes petroleros declararán como testigos en el caso planta de Urea-Bulo Bulo

Hoy se inicia el juicio oral contra el exministro de Hidrocarburos Víctor Hugo Zamora en el caso denominado YPFB-Bulo Bulo. Los representantes del Colegio de Ingenieros Petroleros fueron convocados para brindar su declaración en calidad de testigos.

El presidente del ente colegiado Carlos Alberto Zavaleta indicó que los petroleros informarán sobre lo que verificaron en la inspección que hicieron a la planta.

“Nosotros vamos a ir a declarar la realidad, la verdad. No había ninguna justificación técnica, ni económica, ni legal para paralizar la planta de Bulo Bulo”, señaló el representante en conferencia de prensa, según ABI.

Además del ministro del régimen de Jeanine Añez son investigados otros cinco exfuncionarios, acusados por la paralización de la gigantesca Planta de Amoniaco y Urea de Bulo Bulo a finales de 2019.

Zavaleta indicó que se hicieron inspecciones en el lugar en 2020, por lo que se elaboró un informe técnico sobre el lugar e interpusieron una demanda.

Luego de la acusación formal en contra de los allegados a Añez, la autoridad jurisdiccional determinó que la audiencia sea instalada hoy a las 09.30 en el salón de audiencias del Tribunal de Sentencia Penal 1 y Penal 2 de Ivirgarzama, en Cochabamba.

Zavaleta remarcó que la paralización fue ilegal y política, lo que causó grandes daños a la planta, y por ello fundamentarán su informe en la audiencia en la que declararán como testigos.

“Ha sido un tema político, bastantes profesionales han sido despedidos (…) y lo peor, en plena pandemia (del Covid-19), crisis económica y no había urea boliviana. Los agricultores tuvieron que comprar urea del exterior y al doble del precio, por ende subió la canasta familiar, realmente hubo un daño no solamente a los profesionales, sino al país”, explicó el representante.

Caso Bulo-Bulo

La paralización en el funcionamiento de la planta de urea, ubicada en el trópico cochabambino, provocó un daño económico al Estado de alrededor de $us 243 millones, por la pérdida en la venta de urea, y alrededor de $us 53 millones por la reactivación de la planta, afirmó Zavaleta.

Una comisión de fiscales presentó la acusación formal en marzo de 2022 en contra del exministro Víctor Hugo Zamora (declarado rebelde) y contra el expresidente de Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos Herland Javier S. (declarado rebelde) y el exvicepresidente nacional de Operaciones Jorge R. B.
