Alberto Fernández pidió que Bolivia se sume a la candidatura para el Mundial 2030

El presidente de Argentina, Alberto Fernández, buscará que Bolivia pueda sumarse a la postulación para organizar el Mundial 2030 junto a la Argentina, Uruguay, Chile y Paraguay.

“Nuestra Selección argentina trajo la Copa del Mundo a nuestro continente y sería una enorme alegría que, 100 años después, el Mundial vuelva a donde todo empezó: #Sudamérica”, sostuvo el mandatario, previo al lanzamiento formal de la candidatura conjunta.

A través de su cuenta de Twitter, Fernández también anticipó que buscará que Bolivia pueda ser parte de los países organizadores de la mayor cita futbolística.

“Esta candidatura es de todo el continente. Por eso, me gustaría y voy a proponer que nuestro país hermano #Bolivia sea parte de este sueño”, subrayó el Presidente de Argentina.

El expresidente de Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, reaccionó de inmediato este gesto mediante sus redes sociales, “Agradecemos la enorme vocación de hermandad, solidaridad e integración latinoamericana del hermano #AlbertoFernández que nos apoya en el empeño de que nuestra querida Bolivia sea subsede del #mundial 2030″.

Hasta el momento, la postulación está previsto que sea para que la Argentina, Uruguay, Chile y Paraguay puedan organizar de manera conjunta el Mundial de 2030, cuando se cumplirá un siglo del primer evento de esa naturaleza.

Originalmente, el proyecto era entre las naciones rioplatenses, para así conmemorar a los dos primeros finalistas: el 30 de julio de 1930, en el Estadio Centenario de Montevideo, las selecciones de Argentina y Uruguay disputaron el título, que finalmente quedó para la “Celeste” por la victoria 4-2.

Sin embargo, luego fue ampliándose la postulación: primero se sumó a Paraguay, más tarde a Chile y ahora Alberto Fernández planea impulsar la inclusión de Bolivia.

El Mundial 2002 en Corea-Japón fue el primero en ser organizado en dos países: en tanto, la próxima cita del fútbol mundial, en 2026, será en Estados Unidos, México y Canadá.

Para la Copa del Mundo de 2030, además de la postulación sudamericana también aspiran a competir de manera conjunta Arabia Saudita-Grecia-Egipto, así como también España-Portugal-Ucrania y Marruecos buscarán quedarse con la organización.
